SLAB
STEEL SLABS. A semi-finished steel product obtained by rolling ingots on a rolling mill or processed through a continuous caster and cut into various lengths. The slab has a rectangular cross section and is used as a starting material in the production process of flat products, i.e. hot rolled coils or plates.
BILLET
A billet is a length of metal that has a round or square cross-section, with an area less than 36 in2 (230 cm2). Billets are created directly via continuous casting or extrusion or indirectly via hot rolling an ingot or bloom. Billets are further processed via profile rolling and drawing.
HRC
Hot rolling is a mill process that involves rolling the steel at a high temperature (typically at a temperature over 1700° F), which is above the steel's recrystallization temperature.
HBI
Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI) is a relatively new product, developed in the past 25 years, as a supplement for pig iron and scrap in electric furnace steel mills. It is a compacted form of direct reduced iron (DRI), which facilitates its handling, storage, and use.
REBAR
Rebar (short for reinforcing bar), known when massed as reinforcing steel or reinforcement steel, is a steel bar or mesh of steel wires used as a tension device in reinforced concrete and reinforced masonry structures to strengthen and aid the concrete under tension. Concrete is strong under compression.
DRI

IRON ORE
Iron ore is a kind of mineral rocks including some amount of iron (Fe) that in order to be eccomoicly used it shall be purified; to purify this rock it shall go through melting and reduction process in different kinds of furnaces.
Iron ore contains minerals such as magnetite, hematite goethite, limonite, siderite, etc.
Iron ore is found in markets in different sizes or even concentrated form
IRON ORE PELLETS
Small and hardened iron balls made from iron ore and some added materials are called iron ore pellets.
These balls with usual diamatter of 6-16 mm are so called raw at first and after a procced of heating they get harder.
Iron ore pellets usually contain 64-72 percent of iron (Fe).
